Predominately a chamber musician, Dominique was a founding member of Siren Duo, an award-winning clarinet and viola ensemble that played contemporary works by living and underrepresented composers. Working closely under the guidance of Jorge Montilla Moreno, Siren Duo was selected to premiere a piece at the International Clarinet Association in 2022. Dominique was also the violist and founding member of Kaydenn String Quartet: the first Quartet-In-Residence with the Knox-Galesburg Symphony in 2023, coached extensively by Elizabeth Oakes (Maia Quartet). In 2023, KSQ has performed alongside the renowned Cavani Quartet as an octet, and was invited to the Green Lake Festival of Music (Ripon, WI.) to give a series of guest artist recitals. During her tenure with KSQ, Dominique has received coachings and masterclasses from highly acclaimed string quartets, including the Maia, Brentano, Pacifica, Castalian, Kronos, Aizuri, Jupiter, Jasper, Dalí, JACK, and Cavani Quartets. Dominique joined the Knox-Galesburg Symphony’s resident string quartet in its inaugural 2023-2024 season, alongside KSQ colleague, Adrián Gómez Hernández.
Dominique is also an active teacher: she is the instructor of violin and viola and the director of the string ensemble at Knox College. Previous faculty appointments include the Preucil School of Music (viola and chamber music), and Kirkwood Community College (violin and viola).
Dominique is currently completing a doctoral degree in Viola Performance and Pedagogy with a secondary area in Chamber Music Entrepreneurship from the University of Iowa. At UI, Dominique maintained a studio of non-major viola students, coached undergraduate chamber ensembles, and taught string music education courses. Dominique studies with Professor Christine Rutledge, and is the former teaching assistant of the viola studio.

Dominique began her musical training in Chicago, where she attended New Music School. While in Chicago, she played in the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestras and was a featured artist in the Grant Park Music Festival’s Young Artist Showcase. Dominique has since been playing with orchestras in the US and abroad, including concerto performances during an international tour with the Gabrovo Chamber Orchestra (Bulgaria). Dominique was selected as the 2023 Artist-In-Residence with the Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra, where she presented educational programs in public schools, gave a series of solo recitals and pre-concert lectures, and performed as soloist with the SEISO. As an orchestral musician, Dominique can be found performing regularly with orchestras in the Midwest, most recently appointed as Associate Principal Viola in the Missouri Symphony Orchestra.
